Prospero's Garage - The Who, What, When, Where, and Why of Color Wiring Diagrams

Why:  Because you can't even see those little diagrams supplied by Manufacturers in your owner's manual - because the diagrams in the Haynes and Clymer's manual aren't any easier to see (and they are wrong half the time).  There's nothing worse that trying to decipher a complex wiring diagram that's small, all black and white, spanning two pages - and might even be wrong to begin with!!!

What:  Some of my customers have said my diagrams are almost Art in themselves - I don't know about that, but I do spend a lot of time trying to lay them out in the most logical and easy to read fashion.  My diagrams have the following advantages

  • Color!  There is nothing that makes a Wiring Diagram more useful that Colorizing it.  The colors will match the colors that you are going to see in your harness.  If the diagram says Light Green, you'll see a Light Green wire.
  • Huge!  They are printed on 11' x 17" paper and almost always go from edge to edge.
  • Laminated!  They are pretty much forever - just don't wrap them around a tailpipe.
  • Accurate!  I use Factory Diagrams (whenever possible) as a reference and review them meticulously for every detail.

When:  I'll ship the diagram within a day or so of the receipt of your payment (for payment methods click here).  If you pay with Paypal (my preferred method) that receipt is immediate and your diagram will be winging it's way to you pretty quickly.  If you pay by check or money order it'll take a while longer of course (Please Note - I hold checks for 10 days to clear).

Where:  Well, I live in Little Rock, AR - but  you can find me here on the web at www.slash5.com and you can contact me at Click Here
